Make Your Own - Simple 2 Ingredient Hair Growth Spray

Explore the benefits of horsetail herb for hair health and provide your hair with the nourishment it needs to thrive.

Horsetail (Equisetum arvense) is a medicinal herb with a long history of traditional use for its potential health benefits, including its impact on hair health. Rich in minerals like silica, potassium, and manganese, horsetail has been studied for its potential to enhance hair growth and overall hair health.

Silica, a key component in horsetail, is known to contribute to the structural integrity of hair. Research suggests that silica may aid in strengthening hair strands, reducing brittleness, and preventing breakage. A study published in the Journal of Clinical and Aesthetic Dermatology (2017) highlighted the potential of oral silica supplementation in improving hair quality and reducing hair loss.

Additionally, horsetail contains antioxidants that help protect hair follicles from oxidative stress, a common contributor to hair damage and loss. Its potential anti-inflammatory properties might also support a healthy scalp environment, promoting optimal conditions for hair growth.
